Matt

Born without the part of his brain that dreams or the part of his eyes that blink, writing, directing and acting in sketch comedy has proved quite the challenge for Matt Cassatta, but bravely, he carries on.

Matt started making short films and student produced news shows during his teen years at John F Kennedy High School. He then moved on to the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI where he majored in Film and Video Studies. While at U of M Matt made a whole mess of short films, sometimes called "student films." These included the cult classic "Good-bye Mailbox," the film that actually got into a festival "Now You're Playing with Power," and the nature documentary "Grow-A-Frog: Nature's Finest Miracle Ever!" He also worked for the campus radio station WCBN where he reviewed records and was an on-air DJ for almost a full 20 minutes. The feather in the cap of his time spent at U of M was his 4 years hosting, writing and executive producing the hour long talk show and self proclaimed best show on college television The Padded Room.

Currently, Matt has a job producing television commercials. In early 2005 Matt executive produced, co-wrote and co-directed the horror comedy Edison Price: Homeless Vampire Hunter.

Matthew Charles Cassatta is a Scorpio, loves to Karaoke, and eats a lot of fried foods.
