Happy Holidays Everyone!

Tuesday, December 18th, 2007

How’s everything? Good? Good.

ThesePeople are not above cashing in on the holidays. Since we were so successful at Halloween with “Dead Girls Gone Wild” we thought we’d give Christmas a try and write and record our first Holiday song music video!

The name of the song is “Christmas is a Time…” and it’s finally a song about the holidays for those who will be spending them alone.

As always you can watch the video on YouTube: The Tube

AND this time not only can you watch the sketch on our website. You can download the MP3!! It even has album artwork!

This song started out from some very humble beginnings, but thanks to the time and talent of my good friend Eric Litwin with his mad guitar skills and home producing magnificence, the song completely took on a new life and we couldn’t be happier with how crazy video turned out.

This will be ThesePeople’s last new sketch of the year! Thanks to all of our fans new and old who have left comments, sent emails and ordered shirts.

We’ll be taking a couple of weeks off to stockpile scripts for next year. We already have a couple of fun surprises in store. In the meantime you can always go to ThesePeopleComedy.com for “classic” ThesePeople and to submit your top 5 favorite sketches of 2007 lists.

Thanks and Happy Holidays! See you in 2K8!

ThesePeople Debut on Canadian TV with G4 Torrent Interview!

Thursday, December 13th, 2007

ThesePeople recently made their Debut on Canadian Television and here’s how it all went down:

Eric and Eliza, the kind folks over at Torrent TV, a show that airs on the G4 network in Canada recently contacted us to do an interview for their program which features some of the best web entertainment creators on the web…and us! They sent us a sheet of questions which Joel and I spent an evening shooting the answers to on coincidentally one of the best hair days I’ve had in recent memory… maybe ever.

Anyway the fruits of my, Joel, and everyone at Torrent’s labors are now for all to see up on Torrent’s website.

Here is the link: ThesePeople go Canadian

You’ll see the episode is split up into three chapters, click on the ThesePeople segment to watch ours. It’s a really good sized piece on us and features some of our favorite sketches from the last year or so.

If you have a couple of minutes check it out. I would really appreciate it. It’s really quite cool.

We’ll see you NEXT WEEK with our FINAL sketch of the year!

Stay Awesome,
MaTT
